They say soulmates recognize each other without words. And so it was with us. Our eyes met for the first time at a coffee shop in Salem, after we both had swiped right on our bumble apps, and in that fleeting moment, the universe paused. It was as if the constellations leaned in, conspiring to bring our paths together. We exchanged smiles—an unspoken pact forged in the language of the heart.
Soulmate is not merely a lover; they are home. With her, I found refuge, a safe harbor where vulnerability was celebrated, and fears dissolved. In her presence, I shed pretenses and embraced authenticity. We built a sanctuary of shared dreams, where love has been the cornerstone.
Soulmates are not flawless beings, they are beautifully flawed. We carried our scars, the remnants of past battles yet found solace in each other’s brokenness. Our imperfections fit together like interlocking puzzle pieces, creating a mosaic of love that defied logic. In our flaws, we discovered our shared humanity.
November 30th, 2023. Cozumel, Mexico. My fiance and I going out to dinner after a night of dancing the night away.
November 28th, 2024. Xcaret Theme park in Mexico. My fiance and I going through the Rio Maya excursion as we float together. She has a horrible fear of bats, which unbeknownst to us were present as we had to pass through a cave. This is her beautiful smile in contrast to the fear and panic she faced as we went under nearly 200 flying demons as she would call them.
